Marcellus Protest in Pittsburgh
As the natural gas industry convened at the 2nd annual Devoloping Unconventional Gas (DUG) conference in Pittsburgh, many members of the anti-fracking movement marched over the Rachel Carson Bridge to protest outside the conference. Because of fracking, the industry is experiencing a natural gas boom. According to the DUG website, there were over 2,000 attendees. "Whether you are looking to make new business connections, or learn what operators are doing to protect and develop their investments, DUG East is THE conference you cannot afford to miss."
